This is really beautiful. I love the vibrancy of the colors, contrasted with all the darkness. The reflected highlighs of the colors from the pastels give his hair, skin, and clothing a realistic shine and depth, without looking too plastic, which can be difficult to achieve. I like how the composition is not fully centered, which helps draw the viewer's eye throughout the entire piece. His proportions are realistic, he's attractive to the eye, and I love the play of texture and smoothness that was achieved with both the colored pencils and the pastels.
