Apologies for SO MANY REFS lately, I'm prepping for artfight which means touching up on some characters, adding new ones, and making sure old refs are still to my liking. Among my list of needed updates was August! For some reason I don't have his most recent old design posted here, so if you're curious you can check out his toyhouse below. I never actually got the chance to draw that design of him other then his ref sheet, so I felt it was a good time to re-assess his design and update an older ref sheet with some weird anatomy spots and stuff. I really like his vibe so far, and I think getting rid of his belly scales was a good choice, I will hopefully have the time to draw him and really feel how this new design suits him. He has a sort of feathered raptor feel now which I really like.
