Description
The new 6" Gamorrean Guard from the Star Wars Black series line is awesome. It s an intimidating hulk of a figure with great articulation and an amazing sculpt. I did however, feel the factory paint job was lacking on the face, which can be seen above on the right. On the left is my repaint, which I like a lot more and feel represents the character better. I added a gloss layer to the nose, and lips, and if you look closely, even some snot! I repainted the inside of the mouth and made it glossy as well.
Other repainting includes some washes on the armor to make it look more weathered and painting the silver studs on the chest piece. (for some reason this part was neglected on this figure while the studs WERE painted on the small version released a few years ago.
