Description
"The year is 1987, and NASA launches the last of America's deep space probes. In a freak mishap, Ranger 3 and its pilot, Captain William 'Buck' Rogers, are blown out of their trajectory into an orbit which freezes his life support systems, and returns Buck Rogers to Earth, 500 years later."

This figure utilises Movie Heroes Clone Trooper (modified, for the entire body, sans head), SlayerDesignStudio "Male Head #0402", a reproduction vintage ROTJ Nien Nunb blaster and some modelling clay.

While I had most of the other figures in the vintage Buck Rogers TV show line as a kid, I never actually had the titular character himself (except as an oversized rubber, minimally articulated, potentially knock-off version which did not survive my childhood) so I thought that it was time to make my own. The collar might be a smidge too wide and the pants might be a fraction too short but other than that, I am quite happy with how he has come out.
