Remember you asked or more photos of the Palm-Nut Vulture, and I told you we were going to see one? Well, here it is!

Of course, this beauty didn't make it easy on us, positively playing hide-and-seek, and a white animal against a shadow-y background is quite a challenge but I do love how they turned out

Species: Palm-Nut Vulture (Palmgier)

Latin name: Gypohierax Angolensis

Originates from most of the coastal areas of the African continent.

Current status: Least Concern

Did you know:

…It is the smalles Old World Vulture, and the only member of its genus.

…They are sometimes also called Vulturine Fish Eagle, and in flight, it more resembles an Eagle than a Vulture and can sustain flapping flight.
