Where: Diergaarde Blijdorp Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Alia (and her mate Emas for that matter) are almost constantly on the move. Them being Tigers, they're quite popular, so it's always very crowded. With a reflective glass wall on each side, in a hallway that sounds crazy hollow (and very unpleasant) it is not our favorite place to be. But these Tigers are beautiful, so we do it anyway 
And Alia was even taking a moment for us, so it was all worth it.
Species: Sumatran Tiger (Sumatraanse Tijger)
Latin name: Panthera Tigris Sumatrae
Originates from Indonesia, Asia.
Current status: Critically Endangered (since 2008)
