Have you seen what I'm missing?I'm collecting... trinkets I guess...
Sweet things. Childhood rings.
I know how to find those,
They're in the past,
But I'm lost when it comes to the future.
It's probably not far away.
Sometimes I feel I could open the door
Or the window
And just find it there,
But... I'm worried I might not.
Isn't that kind of a movie thing?
I know its close enough to see,
Nearly close enough to reach
But the ink in my eyes makes it blurry.
And I have empty fingers
So please, if you find it...
Would you return what I'm not sure I had?
