It's a very interesting phrase. If you look at me, I'm smiling almost all the time, but I usually feel terrible. I've done it so much, it's natural.

That's all natural. I always see artists badmouthing their own work, even though it's awesome. I did the same thing two days ago. I drew an anime guy and didn't care for it when I finished, but my brother said it was awesome. You should let others be the judge of your work, cuz you only see the flaws and not the positive aspects.
