i was a bit clueless on what to do about levels. Everything I tried looked like more of a mess than it already was.A BIG thank you to ~bohemianlor for letting me use her photo as reference. I loved the photo and really wanted to draw it.

Mechanical pencil that I used on the Chemistry Final at school (random fact) and Academie (Mead) Sketch Paper.
Took about...an hour. I should have taken more time on it i guess, but it felt done.

yeah. I normally don't use mechanical pencils, but it was all i had in my backpack and i was feeling slightly lazy.

then don't use mechanical pencil. that's what i love about art. for instance...i FAIL at pastels...i have the choice, work at it and maybe improve, orr don't bother and just stick to what i like to do. ahhh. art.

It's amazing how beautiful and simply the drawing is. I think my problem is complicate my drawings, xD. And one hour? You aren't too perfectionist, and that's a common artist's disease... Congratulations on drawing and on your hability.

yeah. i agree. sometimes portraits from reference drawings aren't impressive to me because they look like an exact copy. I know it takes talent and patience to do that, but I like some personality in art. something i have to work on even though i don't take very long per portrait. and i'm excited to see your art.

I just uptdated a old digital art. I usually draw caricatures (just because your motive). I like to draw people through what call attention in their faces. And it's funny,

sweet. when i was little, i used to pretty i could draw caricatures, although all i did was make people way to thin and if they were girls they had giant boobs. it was pretty bad. i like to think i've improved. lol
and when i say little, i mean like 2nd grade haha. "caricatures" and dolphins/whales/sharks. haha. what a child.

well, i am very young to you, then xD. i am finishing the first grade. i start to draw seriously last year, but when i see the drawings of that time, it seems drawings of a loooong time ago. it's incredible how we evolve each drawing we do.
