dont focus on other peoples work, its in our nature, but rarely ever fun. i do my best not to fave or feature artists that are already rather popular anyway.

a lot of it has to do with getting involved with DA. posting forums, featuring other artists, commenting on others work. those are all things that get you more views, and the more people look, the better your odds that someone will want to fave your work.
i am a rather loyal watcher (i would like to think i am anyway). i support my friends a lot by featuring their work. i dont just do it because they are my friends, but because i think they deserve more faves and views than they have.
