Process for the owls!A bit over 2 hours, Photoshop CS4. Final file is about 3000px wide, and I ended with 6 layers - 4 for the actual painting and 2 adjustment layers at the end.

Do you just paint directly over your lines or do you preserve them on top w/multiply and just mask it as you go?

How do you know what colors to use? Do you have you're own personal color pallets in PS, that you made? or do you just know what colors work with others? Excellent work. Love all of you're work.
