Update 7/19/10: I added Nikki's most recent makeover with her short hairstyle as well as her diamond implant being visible outside of her symbiote! Plus, her stats and power levels have been adjusted to her most recent upgrades to her body!

This here is a quick reference sheet for my gal Nicole "Nikki" Vetter aka Diamond that I originally created when I entered her in the very first OC Battle held by back in the middle of 2009. Being that I was a bit rushed for time to get a good ref. piece done for her, I basically took a bunch of example pics from my art technique books of mine and just redrew them as Nikki.

I was at first leery about entering, but I figured that entering the battle tournament would be an excellent way to get more practice in drawing sequentials and other challenging things that I don't usually draw in hopes of getting better. Plus, it's was time for Nicole to show off her skills! Good thing I did enter, as Nikki ended up winning the OC Battle...by default that is! Everyone else dropped out in the semi-final round, but a win is a win!

FOR MY ANGEL FALLS PEOPLE: Now that Nikki is gaining momentum in her adventures as a superheroine in Angel Falls, I figure that I'd update her info for those of you that would like to use her or depict her in any drawings/renders/stories/etc. You are more than welcome to use Nikki in any of your stories...however if you would do me a solid and just fill me in on what you have in mind for Nikki. I'm pretty open minded and would love for Nikki...er, Diamond to be included in as many adventures and missions as possible; I just want my baby to properly utilized!!!

Nicole is 28 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weights approximately 200 lbs. (due to her cybernetics) She currently has short bushy dark brown hair that falls slightly below her earlobs with a widow's peak in the middle of her forehead at her scalp line. For most of her life, she had long hair in which she would often wear up in a ponytail of some sort with a red scrunchy...now she uses her scrunchy as a makeshift headband.

She had an encounter with her arch-nemesis Sataria in where part of her original organic skull was removed and replaced with a dense metal skull plate, resulting in the permanent lost of a generous amount of her natural hair. Part of her hair is a synthetic blend extension to hide her exposed metallic skull on the right side of her head.

Her natural eyes used to get her a lot of compliments and with the addition of her right bionic fiber optical sensor her eyes are even more alluring. Her natural skin is very smooth and beautiful as a testament to her half Jamaican/half African heritage. Nicole does not, and never has, worn any make up at all; her beauty is all natural.

Her organic left eye is light brown, and in place of her right eye, she now has a Hi-Tech Bionic Fiber-Optical Sensor (A cybernetic eye in layman's terms) that is capable of such abilities as Zooming, Panning, Night Vision, Heat Vision, limited X-Ray vision, Targeting, Judging Trajectories and distances, image capturing, and can serve as a surveillance camera for her base of operations, to keep track of her movements and such. She has received an upgrade to her bionic eye, giving her the ability to shoot very powerful high-frequency laser beams at her will. Several Dataports and Jacks have been added to her for syncing with computers, other machinery, and even interfacing with other cyborgs, but all of those aren't clearly visible.

She has also received Cybernetic Audio Reception Implants in both ears that are capable of hearing sounds from really long distances and certain pitches that the normal human ear can't hear...it's almost impossible to sneak up on Nikki, as she'll literally hear you coming from a mile away! She could hear an ant walking on dirt if she wanted to! They are calibrated so that she's not being bombarded by every single sound that's going on...otherwise her head would probably explode from noise overload!

Due to Nikki's confrontation with Sataria in the "Enter The Collective" story arc, her right ear was completely replaced a circular Audio Reception dish. She covers her ear along with the base of her skull up with her symbiote to hide them.

She has a Brown-Dark Brown complexion. However, due to her cybernetic enhancements, her skin from the neck down is riddled and covered with various wires, plugs, and implants, which is then covered by a prototype chrome cyber-symbiotic exoskeleton (which looks and acts like chrome liquid metal) that has been bonded to her body. In essence, the cyber-symbiote is her skin.

Her skin can be rearranged to reveal her body underneath, and can also be removed for maintenance of Nicole's cybernetic parts underneath her cyber-symbiote. It contours to every curve and crease of her body. Her chrome cyberskin can become super-dense; it can become literally as hard as diamond but this is dependent upon her controlling it by her own thought.

Nikki's cybernetic augmentations greatly enhance her abilities which makes her stronger, faster, quicker, and more focused far more than the average human. She has hydraulic pumps implanted in all four of her limbs (her right arm/shoulder is actually completely mechanical) which enable her to lift up to approximately a max of 250 tons over her head, run at speeds up to 155 mph. for a sustained amount of time, jump with a vertical leap of 200 ft, and a running leap of 215 yards. Her major joints and skeleton has been laced with various metals and alloys, thus making her bones virtually unbreakable....some of her bones have been completely removed and replaced with completely mechanical replacements.

Her cyber-skin can resist pretty much any kind of impact and withstand extreme temperatures and pressure without causing Nicole any major injury. Nicole's cyberskin also has limited morphing abilities, which allow her to make weapons out of her limbs. Her cyber skin can literally become as dense as diamond, and CANNOT be penetrated unless Nicole decides to or her onboard computer has been overridden somehow, which is really difficult to do b/c of the security firewalls and such designed to keep hackers and other infiltrators out of her head. Being that a considerable part of her brain has been replaced with a computer, she is virtually immune to mental attacks.

She can make her cyberskin very slick and slide around nearly any surface as if she were on ice. In the same sense, she can also make her skin abrasive to create traction on most surfaces. In extreme cases, she can make the skin cover up her head to act as a helmet, but she very rarely has to do this, as her skull is pretty well protected already.

Her joints and skeleton have been replaced with a cyber-endoskelton which is virtually indestructible. Her blood has been replaced with a synthetic blood infused with microscopic nanites which helps with the maintenance of her organic parts with resistance to sickness, muscle enhancement, and super rapid healing. Over the years, Nicole's body has been upgraded and fitted with even more cybernetic parts and implants; where as she still had more than 50% of her original organic parts when she first became a cyborg, yet has been accumulating more and more machinery and cybernetic parts with each upgrade to her body.

Sataria had taken away even more of her organic parts when she nearly assimilated Nikki. Nicole's physical composition at this point is 35% organic and 65% mechanical...she is technically more machine than she is human now, yet still has a moderate amount of her original organic body parts.

She was given a diamond by her mother that was passed down from her grandmother, who was a former diamond miner in Sierra Leone that fled to Jamaica and took the diamond as a keepsake...this is where Nicole got the moniker "Diamond" from. For safe keeping, Nicole had requested that diamond be cybernetically implanted within her body. Her technicians actually discovered that the diamond emits great energy and not only developed a way to implant it within her body, but it was discovered that she can draw more than enough power and energy from that diamond to provide energy for her mechanical parts...since it's been implanted in her body she's been stronger than she's ever been. Her fully potential has yet to be reached, as the diamond within her has Nikki's power levels exponentially higher than originally expected with her initial cybernetic transformation.

It has been also discovered that Nicole's diamond implant now gives her the ability to emit high powered blasts of energy as a long-distance attack. She can also create an energy shield to protect her or expand it to a limited radius to deflect hostile attacks. It is not yet known to what capacity that Nikki can manipulate the energy of the diamond...it has been decided that she must be careful with the amount of energy that she expels as not to cause her systems to suffer from power failure.

Even before Nicole's cybernetic augmentation, Nicole was already an Olympic Class athlete with near genius intelligence. Nicole has an athletic build...her body is a mix between a beach volleyball player, a fitness model, and a track runner's body....think the same body build as Serena Williams. Her measurements are 30C-24-34....She is very lean, has perfect muscular definition, broad shoulders, and has long legs.

Being that Nicole still has much of her original organic matter and muscle, she has to continue to take proper care of her body and health. Even though they've been enhanced, most of her muscle mass is organic and as not to get "rusty" or develop muscle atrophy, she has a rigorous daily workout regiment that she follows and maintains a balanced diet. Nicole's stomach has been replaced with a cybernetic food processing unit, which basically processes all of the nutrients for her body and burn away the waste, preventing her from gaining unnecessary body fat and preventing her from even having to excrete waste; urinary or fecal.

Although Nicole is 65% machine and has mechanical parts all over her body, plus being covered by her symbiote...she can actually remove her symbiote and is capable of engaging in sexual activity if she chose to. (She could actually keep it on and allow for the symbiote to enter her vagina and allow for penetration IF she wanted to! ) Her uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries were removed upon her cybernetic transformation and are held in stasis for scientific purposes. (Nikki isn't happy about the fact that her eggs are used for experimentation purposes, but it was part of the agreement along with her cybernetic transformation.)

As for the rest of her reproductive system, the space that was left from the removal of her uterus/tubes/ovaries is now riddled with various wires, tubes, pumps, and other machinery to aid in the use of her legs being able to run at the extreme speed and jump as high/far as she can. Her vagina, clitoris, labia, and surrounding areas are still organic and Nikki is still very capable of achieving orgasm through prolonged sexual stimulation. Nikki hasn't has sex since being a cyborg (which has been several years now!) and very rarely gets the urge to thanks to the microchips implanted in her brain, but can indeed still participate and thoroughly enjoy sex if the situation presented itself.

Although Nicole is an amazing fighter, she hasn't had any formal martial arts training; she has dabbled in boxing and kickboxing a bit, but used those more for cardio workouts. She is a naturally gifted athlete and her athleticism and quick wits already makes her dangerous enough as is.

Upon her cybernetic transformation, a chip was implanted into her brain preloaded with thousands of various fighting styles, techniques, holds, and throws...sometimes she doesn't even realize what she's doing until she's mid-move in what looks like a well rehearsed move. She tends to use a free form type of fighting; mixing striking, acrobatic, and submission techniques equally. Although she doesn't fight under a particular discipline of martial art, it looks like she's been practicing her style of fighting since childhood. That's just how finesse Nicole is. Nikki is unmatched in hand to hand combat.

Personality wise, Nikki's a natural born leader. She has been the captain of every sports team that she's ever been a part of and have lead just about every team that she's lead to greatness. She has also excelled in academics, as she completed her courses with highest honors. The main aspect of her personality is her heart and her indomitable will. She has an unbreakable will and is very goal driven to accomplish whatever she sets out to do. Although she's a beast of a fighter, Nicole doesn't have a temper...she rarely gets pissed off. She is the personification of "Grace under Fire"...she actually performs better in situations that would make most people lose their cool...that's part of the allure that makes Nicole so great.

Despite the fact that slightly more than half of her body consists of machinery and about half of her brain being fused with her onboard computer processor and various microchips, Nicole doesn't act like a robot or machine like...she acts exactly as she did as a human. Unlike many people that are turned into cyborgs and become cold and distant to human emotions and such, Nikki hasn't changed much at all personality-wise. Her encounter of nearly being assimilated has affected her to some degree, yet she's still able to connect with her human side without letting her cybernetic programming and logical systems take over.

Nicole has never backed down from a challenge, even if the odds seem like they are stacked high against her. She is very intimidating, as she has a "game face" that she uses to get into the heads of her opponents....not only does she like to break her opponents down physically, she likes to get into their heads as well. She's generally a very nice, friendly, and respectable girl with a great sense of humor, but she tends to get a little cocky at times. She loves competition and absolutely HATES losing...she takes it really hard whenever she loses; fortunately Nikki doesn't lose much at all.

She is very intimidating, as she has a "game face" that she uses to get into the heads of her opponents....not only does she like to break her opponents down physically, she likes to get into their heads as well. She's generally a very nice, friendly, and respectable girl with a great sense of humor, but she tends to get a little cocky at times. She loves competition and absolutely HATES losing...she takes it really hard whenever she loses; fortunately Nikki doesn't lose much at all.
