Explanation is not necessary, don't you think?
Tired of Bonnie's mistreatment, Kim lost her traditional patience and tolerance and hit Bonnie eye with an accurate right punch! Absoltely deserved! 
I'm not supporting the violence...but Bonnie is so mean and Kim always swallows the trash that Bon Bon have for her...I was sure that someday Kim would explode in a very violent way!
As my hand is not well (my last deviation ruined my wrist!) I did this work in the traditional way, inking with a pen and painting in PS. I hope you enjoy this new deviation!

do you means Kim? hummm...I'm not sure...perhaps...but Kim is a good girl, you knows, she never striked Bonnie in the show...; Perhaps, this scene is due to some mean word or act of Bonnie which takes Kim in a bad day! Think so: perhaps Kim has a bad awakening, a turbulent breakfast discussing with the "tweebies"...then, tolerate bonnie stupidities at school...it's so much!

Y como dije mas arriba (y en ingles), creo que Kimmita fue bastante suave. Kim es una buena persona, nunca le harΓa nada demasiado grave a una porquerΓa como Bonnie. Creo que un puΓ±etazo bien puesto es suficiente para que Bonnie se aleje de Kim por un tiempito...jejejeje....

I love the stance and the expression on Kim's face, but I feel a bit sorry for poor Bonnie who isn't really a fighter. Couldn't she just tickle her next time?

hummm...I'm not sure about that! In my opinion, Bonnie suffers serious emotional problems, she is slightly mentally unbalanced...definitively she is not a good person! And about fight...no, my friend! Bonnie hasn't the attitude and the inner discipline to fight...

Take another look at Bonnie in Return to Wannaweep and Bonding. In both she easily kept step with Kim at several turns. In RtW, when Barkin, Kim, and Bon Bon come across Gill and Beaver-Ron fighting, take careful note⦠it is Bonnie who recognizes him, saying "Is that⦠Ron?.
She has some skills, trust me. Also, serious career-oriented ballet practice, which if she's been doing it intensively for 12 years (at season2) is 'career' mentality, is nearly as comprehensive, exhaustive, and intensive as any martial art.
One sucker punch, and then Bonnie would surprise Kim during the ensuing catfight. Not to say Kim wouldn't win, but she'd be surprised.
As for Bonnie's personality, yes she starts off the series as a pain in the ass bitch, but Bonding gives us a peek into why she is how she is. Also, after getting Squad Captain in Number One she never really challenged Kim for the position again. In fact, in The Full Monkey when Kim suddenly appeared and took the Top of the pyramid, Bonnie actually said "Good to have you back"
