Blotched Tabby Types can look like a solid cape or mantle on the cat’s back.
Ticked or Patternless Tabby/Agouti Patten Type Cats, the ones who appear patternless on their backs, can have subtle or breakthrough patterns on their back. Barred ticked tabbies can have either distinct leg and tail patterns or just distinct tail patterns.
Striped, Spotted, and Dribbled tabby types can vary between having very faint back patterns to having patterns on their backs nearly as distinct as that on their leg, face, and tail.
Some European and Scottish wildcats appear to have the usually seen as unrealistic Y Stripe pattern witnessed in the Warriors cats drawings, especially as kittens.
