contrary to common myths sperm whales (among other whales) aren´t actually the prey of giant molluscs but the other way round.furthermore are these molluscs not octopodes but squids.
so yeah, the things depicted in this drawing aren´t accurate at all (the whale is also only loosely based on a sperm whale)
ps: who of you can guess where the influence on the looks of the whale came from?
