Description
The AT class-2 was the result of the need to have an alternative for coastal and mountain routes. Built in 2009 for the section between San Antonio and San Miguel. It was a complete success, since a smoke collector was added capable of retaining the smoke in the tunnels and releasing it when leaving. although it was the only locomotive to implement this because the cab were hermetic. The crew was pleased because the smoke did not block their vision when they came out of the tunnel. In addition, the same tender as its predecessor was added as it proved to be very versatile and useful when making long journeys. The locomotive measures 26 meters. height of 5.10 meters. 1676mm track width
