This may come off as pretty random, but I have a little bit of history with the Rabbids. When I was very young, I was scared by them, but then as I got older, I kinda had a brief obsession over them, which was mostly about looking up the early development of their first game when it started off as the fourth installment of the Rayman franchise (which I've also been checking out on for a while as well.) Obviously as it's something I have an interest in, I thought about doing a drawing of the nutty little bunnies. This technically isn't the first drawing I've done of them though, as I've made a few others five or six years ago, but that's for another time.

Now, my take on these guys is vastly different compared to how most of you know them as.

The Rabbids in official media are essentially immature and mindless halfwits, having zero idea how everyday objects or anything else work, and are just plain stupid (their French name Lapins Crétins says it all.) You might compare them to the Minions, but at least those guys have more braincells than these long-eared blockheads.

Now the Rabbids you see here, are a little more akin to how they are in the early prototype of their first game. While they're still a little dim-witted (though not as much as they are officially), they're also nasty, mischievous, vicious, and all in all, raving mad. The designs also reflect that. Instead of the mostly cute white bunnies with blue eyes that turn red when they go 100% crazy, my Rabbids look absolutely revolting, bug-eyed, malformed, possibly deceased, and their eyes are permanently red.
