About this piece:
So yeah, haha I quite like this one. Attempted semi-realism. The hair was very hard to do ¬¬ I'm still not too happy with it but... I'm still pretty new to this. Using the airbrush makes it look a little bit blurry, and im not sure why. As fas as I am concerned, this is realism attempt #1 
I'd say overall this took me 7hrs. (I get distracted while working very easily 
)Done in Photoshop Cs5. Reference WAS used (from the manga) for the general pose. No tracing or direct copying of any kind though.EDIT: on my computer screen at home it looks fine. but when I look on my Iphone it is brighter, and you can see some of the unwanted detail inside the mouth. Im not sure how to fix this. I hope your computer screen is dark

Awesome work Chrispy. Still cant believe you dodged showing me this all week until now =_=. But yeah you've took to digital like a duck to water. Not bad at all for a first attempt.
If I had to pick one thing about it that could be better I'd say the skin, it doesn't look as detailed as the rest of the picture. But otherwise...keep it up

Air brush/dodge/burn tool is mainly for highlights brah, that's why is blurry. But I'm pleased to see how much better you're getting overall

I Guess it is a black and white piece, so it shouldn't be skin coloured.... but mabye it should have been darker
