The Second Round of History just started, and new nations rose from the ashes.Europe:
The Brittanian Confederacy is a mostly decentralized union of various cities, towns and villages in Great Britain. Still does not stop them from claiming all of Britain.
Ireland is a decentralized state akin to Britain, though one less militant and expansionist.
The Kingdom of France is the result of the descendants of The Bourbons taking power on France, and deciding to not only restore France, but also The Frankish Lands. Has constant disputes with Hispania.
The Kingdom of Hispania is just Spain but larger. It plans to conquer Portugal and France to restore Catholic rule in Western Europe, and has an alliance with the reborn Byzantine Empire to split Italy among them. It also persecutes anyone who isn't Catholic.
The Kingdom of Portugal is a little state cowering in fear that Spain wants their lands, but that doesn't stop them from claiming all of Portugal and Galicia as their lands.
The Kingdom of Italy has a Savoyard back on the throne, and outright claims that all of Europe belongs to them. In fact, it is Byzantium's greatest rival and one of the first countries to fall to their rage.
The Byzantine Empire is truly Byzantine at last, and dreams of taking Italy and Carthage to regain their Roman prestige. It also wants Persia to get out, and persecutes anyone who isn't Eastern Orthodox.
Asia:
The Persian Empire has a Pahlavi back on the throne, and wants to reclaim all lands held by the Achaemenid Empire. Does not like Byzantium and Turan. Persecutes anyone who isn't Zoroastrian.
The Turanic State happens to be a self-proclaimed Turkic Empire, despite its decentralized structure. At least, everyone there does not want to succumb to Persian Hegemony again.
The Indian Empire happens to a bizarre Hindu Fundamentalist State claiming the legacy of The Guptas, while also being fiercely isolationist. It still happens to be an island of prosperity, at least, and in the future, it is expected to expand more.
The State of China is trying to do anything to keep the Han grip on power in every corner. Doesn't help that it has poor relations with Korea, and wants to expand in various corners of East Asia.
The Kingdom of Korea is just a bizarre state built in distorted memories of Goguryeo and Juche itself. As such, it wants to dominate East Asia.
The Kingdom of Japan happens to be a state running on a mix of Shinto, Buddhism, Confucianism and Taiosm. It still happens to stable, and looks on to unite all of Japan.
Africa:
The Carthaginian Kingdom is an attempt at restoring Carthage. It is a hub of learning, and also of persecuting other Christians in favor of a Neo-Arian kind of Christianity and attempting to sack Italy with no success. It wishes to explore North Africa.
The Kingdom of Ethiopia has a Selassian king again, and is making their riches by trading with Byzantium while kicking the Jews out of the country. Wishes to conquer The Horn of Africa and Arabia.
The Empire of Ghana might look isolated, but it is a well-known trading post between Europe and Africa.
Americas:
The Mexican Empire is really just a restoration of The Aztec Empire, with a restoration of Aztec Religion and constant need to sacrifice many to impede such catastrophe as the one who shook the world to happen again. Wants to invade the Mayans to make sure the catastrophe never happens again.
The Mayan Confederacy happens to be a very decentralized group of cities, towns and villages who still manages to be an influential hub of science like its ancient predecessor. Is trying to build various fortifications to stop The Mexicans from slaughtering their people for their insane creed.
The Moche Union is just another boring decentralized state there.
The Peruan Confederation is a decentralized revival of the Pre-Catastrophe nation of same name, though one that acts like a trading hub for South America. It even is exerting influence to make the Moche join them.
The Bolivian Empire is an insane state based on a religion that mixes Incan Religion and Christianity. It constantly tries to force feudalism, and still retains slavery. It wants to conquer all of Tawatinsuyu.
