In this timeline, the world is divided in two camps: Revolutionaries and Counter-Revolutionaries. Here's what happened:
Portugal was the first to discover the Americas, creating multiple colonies there, and in the end, it becomes essentially Portugal-in exile, with the Braganzas still on the throne to this day.
England and France managed to have some colonies there, but they also became independent as The Republic of Georgia and The Republic of Texas, respectively. Both adhere to the Revolution, except Georgia is White Nationalist and Texas is Stratocratic.
Most of the world is ruled by The Union of Socialist States, a superstate created by revolutionaries being fed up with the constant wars in the continent to the point they killed almost all royals and took everything they had, creating a massive state engaged in conquering the world for the Revolution.
The Revolutionary State was a pet project created by the Georgians to house all blacks and homeless in their country just to increase living stantards and economy. They support The Revolutionary Cult, a pseudo-religion claiming that the leaders of The Revolution are descended from various gods.
The Eastern Roman Empire survived as a result of them resisting various invasions, but they lost many of their African and European lands to the Socialists, resulting in them becoming revanchist, nationalist and insanely bitter. They expanded East, as a result of many nobles starting to believe that recreating Alexander's Conquest will prove that the Greeks are chosen to rule Rome, and therefore, all of Christendom.
The Romani people never left their lands, and conquered India.
Tibet conquered all of Mongolia and China, and also fell to the Revolution. They are also one of the three supporters of The Revolutionary Cult.
The Sultanate of Japan is the result of Muslim Merchants managing to convert the Emperor to their religion. Recently, they invaded Korea and control many Pacific Islands, just to achieve their dream of spreading Jihad to the world.
Srivijaya survived, and they managed to become Revolutionary. They also support The Revolutionary Cult, too.
