Description
In dad's dream he was overlooking a rebuilt Third Temple. And Enoch and Elijah were standing high on a hill overlooking it. He never heard their names. They may have said their names to each other and he didn’t understand the language they spoke. He just knew it was them. Both men were in front of him, with their backs to him, with Elijah to the left and Enoch high to the right. The shadow of Sheol was cast from the front of the Temple as the Sun was behind it yet completely still. The Sun was perfectly lined up with the Temple and something was going to open. The United Nations had come together as one to form a Peace Treaty that would allow the Hebrews to rebuild it. But the Almighty did not approve of it. And He was not pleased.Dad didn’t actually hear this information. He just knew it. And in the beginning it was quiet. His initial impression of them was that they reminded him somewhat of Aladdin and the Genie, with Elijah being likened to Aladdin and Enoch akin to the Djinn. This would have been like the Disney cartoon Aladdin (1992). The story of Aladdin is one of the most familiar narratives in all of literature, a classic ‘rags to riches’ tale featuring a young hero who has to learn an important lesson; an exotic setting;
Although he did speak to dad later in the dream, Elijah never initially spoke directly to dad. Dad never initially saw Elijah's face. And at first Elijah never actually turned around to look back to dad. But Enoch and Elijah were talking with each other. And they were having a conversation, with Elijah’s hand gestures being very animated even as Enoch stood calmly with his hands behind his back.
“See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
Malachi 4: 5-6 (NIV)
