Comic 258: Settling Up Your DebtPanel 1: (2/3 Width; 2/3 Height) Eve with a hand on her waist, the other at her locket.
Eve: "There is, of course, the matter of payment for aiding one of the Fair Folk in a time of need..."
Panel 2: (1/3 Width; 1/3 Height) Joe cringing.
Joe: "Oh geez, you brought up the pact."
Joe 2: "Look, I haven't exactly got pockets to hold treasure and I'm no leprechaun. No pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."
Eve (off-panel): "You can grant a boon though, yes?"
Panel 3: (1/3 Width; 1/3 Height) Eve eying Joe as he rubs the back of his head, still hovering in front of her, but not moving around a lot.
Joe: "well...
Joe 2: "Yes."
Joe 3: "What have you got in mind?"
Panel 4: (1/3 Width; 1/3 Height) Tony using a crowbar to pull the nails off the basement paneling. Some already off, see Mortimer's coffin behind it. Joe is using a bottle-cap to try to pry off another nail in the next board over.
Tony: "Definitely need to rig up something for hiding this on a
moment's notice."
Joe: "Assistant Caretaker!"
Joe 2: "For a year!"
Tony2: "You'd rather be with the guys chasing after you?"
Joe 3: "..."
Joe 4: "Ask me again in a few weeks."
