Comic 261: Blow Out The Candles...
Panel 1: Carl unlocking his apartment, turning to talk to his landlady in the hallway.

Landlady: "Mr. Strashem, a package arrived for you while you were out, but the delivery man was very persistent, so I let him set it in your flat."
Carl: "Huh."
Carl 2: "Maybe it's a birthday gift..."
Landlady 2: "Oh!"
Landlady 3: "Happy Birthday!"
Landlady 4: "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

Panel 2: Carl shutting the door behind him in the background. In the foreground is a small crate/box with the "This Side Up" upside down.

Panel 3: Carl tilting his head and looking at the box as it opens itself, falling apart. Inside it's obvious that some sort of electrical device is hooked up to some explosives. Carl is standing next to his table, setting his bag on top of it as it opened.

Ansen (recording): "Happy Birthday Baldy."

Panel 4: Carl flipping his table over onto it's longer side so he can hide behind it. See that the underside is a bit metal. Everything on the table, including his bag of groceries is being flung off (not really his concern at the time, duh.).

Carl: "Shit!"
Ansen (recording): "Tell Satan I said 'hi'."

Panel 5: Massive EXPLOSION!!! Seen from the outside. Show that the other rooms aren't being affected by the explosion (due to Carl fireproofing his room), but people on the ground below are on their cell phones walking, and a couple are looking back and/or up at it in shock.
