Description
Comic 69: Quiet Tenant?Panel 1: Emmett's jaw's right side still on his fist, tilting his head to the side as he speaks.
Emmett: "Yes, thank you. A room as elevated as possible, with a view of the road, secluded is preferable. I suppose I should mention that I value my privacy."
Eve: "I believe we have just the room for you, and privacy is a matter we hold in highest regard."
Panel 2: Morty lowers the tray and Emmett takes a mug from him.
Morty: "Would you like some hot cocoa, Mr...?"
Emmett: "Smith. Emmett Smith. Yes I would, thank you."
Panel 3: Morty moving back to the kitchen with the tray, offers Tony some along the way (Lydia already has one, as does Eve).
Eve: "Well, Mr. Smith, shall we begin the interview?"
Emmett: "Certainly. But, please, call me Emmett."
Panel 4: Emmett looking like he's sipping the cocoa quietly while listening.
Eve: "Although we won't ask you to divulge any secrets, we do not wish to harbor a criminal or have any less than at least courteous tenants. As you can imagine. So, do we have anything to fear from you, and if not, would you please describe why you would be an ideal tenant?"
Panel 5: Emmett holding the mug in his hands and it should be visible that it's not lowering.
Emmett: "The only crime I have committed, if you could construe it as such, is my continuing existence and unintentional impact on my environment, both local and global. I would be an ideal tenant because I would not require much attention, I would be relatively quiet, and most importantly, I would pay each month in advance and the first six months now, if you wish."
