I am dead, gone, with no more strife
My life's flame now extinguished
I gave my life to better life
But found all life was dead
So many lives had gone to waste
As they struggled to survive
Missing the point in all their haste
Never once learning how to thrive
Dull and bland, unlike the fall
Not dead but yet not living
Brainless conforming zombies all
All blind and without feeling
Disillusion, my eyes opened
