The hand and the tongue is bit comical, but then again, was that something you tried to do? I know that horror is often related to epic and earnest mood, so it's a bit of a contrast.
Considering the anatomical aspect here, it's bit comical how the face is total profile shaped and then torso is 3/4 turn of it.
