Very nice painting indeed! I can't decide which version I like better. This one is a lot cleaner and more defined, but that doesn't always mean better. The previous one was a bit more... I dunno how to define it. Calmer? No sharply defined/smooth edges are somewhat comforting and calming to look at. This piece is striking me as more of a "I'm going on an adventure" feel, while the other seems to be about stoic dwarven warrior watching over his homeland. I like to think that it's a same dwarf drawn at different times of his life. And it's a shame he got a new axe, I liked the simple decoration on the head of the previous one.
