Hes badass, but never was he terrifying. I mean, name one thing he did besides being allowed to kill Obi-wan and killing one of his own commanders.

First off, that was Anikin. Second, he didn't do it alone. Give the clones some credit there But I was more basing my statement off the original 3 movies, those being 4, 5, and 6. He really didn't do anything and yet people bitch and whine over the prequels saying Vader was badass, but my argument will always be "WHAT DID HE DO!!??" Like, he did VERY little in all those films, not even KILLING one of the main characters.
And were there really hundreds of Jedi? I mean, I've only ever seen, like, 50 of them. If Jedi were by the hundreds . . . I don't know, my willing suspension of disbelief would be shattered.

It's a matter of different perspectives.
Mine : I see star wars as an extended universe, build on movies of course, but also on books. Therefore, I see Vador as a complex and unique character, not as a costume. To me, Vador was born when he turned against Mace Windu, and died before he rescued Luke, when redemption strikes him.
So yes, I think Vador is terrifying because he is like every one of us, and just lost his way. He's an incarnation of our own demons. And sure, the costume extends that feeling. But hey, in the end, he's just a man who finally did one good choice.
Yours : I think you see Vador as a character of movies, and specially from episode IV, V and VI. And it's ok... Sure he's just an armor in theses films, but Lucas gave him somme charisma whith his hoarse voice. So I understand your view but I disagree.
And by the way, yes it's hundreds of jedi, and the clones are great soldiers, and they do what you ask them (most of the time) BUT the decision was made by the emperor (who is undoubtedly a stronger evil character).
So... It's ok to have different point of views (in my opinion) and I think Vador is quite terrifying

Actually, expanding the Clone Wars, you see the Clones are very much individualized. Makes sense too since the more Jango's DNA is used, the weaker it becomes. I can't say Vader came until after he got over the whole fiasco, because you still see Anikin there. Standing on Mustifar, thinking about what he's done. I don't consider my villain crying to have completely turned over. It shows that he still is Anikin in there.
I still don't agree with the hundreds of Jedi bit, but that's just me. :/

Yep I've read clones book (with Kal Skirata) that's why I said "most of the time"
Anyway, thanks for the nice discussion about Star Wars and sorry we disagree (and for the late answer). Have a nice day!

A great tribute to the original Dark Lord. The splash of white with fringes of floors make this a paradox of seriousness and whimsy.

Dude it's from The Dark Knight Rises when Bane says good evening Mr. Wayne, notice the large hands. He used it as a base from Bane for the drawing.
