Yes, It's my birthday!I'm a photoshop noob, so I couldn't go any further beyond this simple drawing before getting generally frustrated.
I would have liked to color it though. It is in grayscale for some reason I do not authorize.

You should have an "image" tab under your menu somewhere, and under there is "mode." (It's on the bottom for me, but I'm using Elements 2 so it's been a few versions and if you're using the non-Elements, well, all the more reason it may be a bit different... but only a bit.) From there you have your image options, and probably want RGB color (CMYK is more for print/photos, whereas RGB is probably best for drawing purposes). Then it should let you color things. : D Hope that helps.
As for ice cream, yes, it is wonderful, and being older just gives you an excuse to eat bigger cones like that. > : D -gets out the giant bowl-
