Description
I wanted some animated icons again so I doodled around a bit. First I tried it with a downloadable wolf walking base but I was messing up the move also because of it's endless frames. Runs are easier because they don´t have that many frames. I tried to find one cool one which would be made for others to use (some base) but I couldn´t find any which I liked enough so I re-used some of my very old runs and changed the run a bit more into a jump. (I guess it looks like that because the legs are longer now)
Because most of my characters are wolves, I made a very basic wolfish line set here. They can be altered all the way you wish, as you can see the finished example of my own current avatar. It is the same run just with a thinner more dog-like character (he is partly malinois) and flipped the side to have him not running away from a conversation. On the bigger animation you also can see his torn ear, so that was mainly the reason why I had him running to the right and not to the left like shown here.
This base is absolutely free. It is not perfect when you look at the hair on the neck, I am not good with hair move, tried to keep the hair easy here. I am already glad that the head, tail and legs look quit fluent.
As you can see this was my original run
I really made many runs with the base but never posted some sort of base for use.
I didn´t like the original run that much anymore and changed the legs a bit, make them a bit longer because they appeared a little short to me (characters were looking so elongated).
I see it quite openly. Tracing someone's character or a special move which is very much unique is not okay, but a bare run, a move which is made by nature and not invented by someone exclusively should be open for everyone. So feel free to play around with this base!
I also have a PSD file (where I make these runs with to have a better quality) with bigger images than what you can see here.
You only have to lay your character over the lines. The lines are actually not transparent so you need to draw your own character over the base.
When you are using it, you can link me your result, I would really love to see what you make with it C:
When you post your result to your gallery, it would be cool when you link back to this base so other people maybe can get inspired to make an own one.
