Vera is a happy go luck social butterfly who loves to get to know new people, make friends, and chat extensively about anything that comes to her mind. She comes from a long line of Vampires that stretches all the way back to Babylonian times, although her branch of the family is known for their affinity for northeastern Europe. Her father, mother, and grandfather were chased out of their ancestral castle home in the early 1800s and have since emigrated to the United States of America where they settled down in safe and secure, Monsterhaven. Vampires in the Monsterhaven world age normally up until puberty when the aging process starts to slow, and unlike legend, vampires are entirely mortal. They, just happen to have a life span of about 500-525 years. So, Vera is exactly as she appears to be at 10 years old, though soon she will start to seem noticeably younger than her fellow classmates. Vera also has many of the traditional vampire powers, like hypnotism, flight, shapeshifting (into a bat), and invulnerability with the exception of beheading, steaking, sunlight,running water, etc.
