This is how I give credit (just so I cover all the bases and never get flagged for it):
(I try to at the very least to mention twice in the description the artist and/or the deviation.)


** If you use a base that has not been redo-ed use this one **
Base Taken From: [icon*nameofartist*]
Original Base: [URL to the base/bases used]

** If the base was a repaired like the ones I do please use this one **
The Original Base Creator:[icon*nameoforiginalartist*]
The Original Base: [URL to the original base/bases used]

The Repaired Artist: [:icon*nameofrepairartist*:]
The Repaired Base: [URL to the repaired base/bases used]

This base has been derived from an original piece by [icon*nameoforiginalartist*] . She/He owns the rights to these over me or [:icon*nameofrepairartist*:] .


These are templates I use, they take a bit of time but later the artist will not complain to you. They might have a suggestion for the change of credit to them but so far it has only been a minor change like they've changed accounts or something like that. So please do this to all your deviation including the one that you used from me. I'll be checking in on the deviation to see if any credit is given.

The [icon*nameofartist*] should end up looking like this.

:icon Ptilopsis: *without the space between*
and it'll show their icon like this
