In my Media Theory and Practice class, our textbook was "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud. Out of the 21-student class, I was the only one with a background in comics. Needless to say, my projects took a lot more risks than everyone else's. But, for me, part of the process is pushing the medium as far as possible.

This one-page comic explains Eli Pariser's concept of the "Filter Bubble," a terrible byproduct of online personalization where we become trapped in an endless loop of ourselves where no new information presents itself and we never learn anything new.
