YES! She DOES get re-born after all!
In MY Alternative Universe, what ended up happening, was somehow, Cosmos felt the overwhelming urge to be reborn like everybody else, so she uses the Lambda Power on herself while she is in the Galaxy Cauldron. And while she is in the Cauldron, she can feel her soul completely split in 2 and now her and Chibi Chibi (who is now re-born as Cupid) really are 2 completely separate people after all.
Cupid comes from another section of Venus and is re-born on Earth as Kiki, Cassie Conrad's younger sister. As a Senshi, she is kind and loyal to all the Soldier and Sailor Senshi, but she has a very close bond with her older sister, Sailor Cosmos and will often be fighting battles alongside her.

For some reason, her Senshi name totally matches her personality as the Senshi of Love and Affection, right? Just look at how darling those ringlets look on her! Right? RIGHT?
