Sleeping in the dark pits of my heart,
The fire within me has burned out
Frozen and neglected I turn away,
Waiting for someone to break me out
The fading world dims to black,
My mind moping for nothing
I reach out and start to plea,
My soul wishing for something
I grasped nothing but darkness
As I start to drown in thoughts
Fear lashed at my courage,
But sorrow tore at my heart
I'm suffocating, come take me away
I can't breathe to save my life
Why am I falling into a pool so black,
When things around me look so white?
