It has been about 7 years since I made Feng Zhu's teleporter concept. I never finished it then due to work/skill and my hardware limitations..

The biggest difference between modelling this now and the same 7 years ago by far was the time it took. Back then the model took me 3 weeks whereas this was completed within one 6 hours period.

Modelled in blender3D 2.63. unknown polycount, somewhere in the millions. The render took just under 2 hours and has a little bit of noise removal and exposure control from photoshop.
