In my opinion, Shadow stands out as the most unique and coolest Assists in Smash. It would've been cool for him to be an official fighter like an echo fighter of Sonic, but of course it was handed to Dark Samus. I was really hope he'll be the next one after K. Rool, but it was handed to Isabelle and the fact that he retains his role as an Assist in Ultimate. Hey, at least he comes with a Chaos Emerald to use Chaos Control, that's a cool feature at least.
