growing up in a war-torn timeline, this Uub is nothing like the one we know. Goku trained him but only for a very short time before succumbing to Black along with nearly all the Z-fighters. though his training was minimal, he learned enough to become stronger on his own. Black had tried to indoctrinate Uub, seeing his potential for destruction, but he had seen so much destruction already that he refused. the very young Uub- to current day- is one of only a few who've actually been able to do any damage to Black.
it took him years of self-discipline and uncovering the secret of his past life to develop his Samsara Riha technique, he becomes so powerful that Black was forced to retreat more than once... but there is so much collateral damage to his surroundings and nearby friendlies as well as a shock on his own body once he powers down that he refuses to use the technique too often and certainly not near any of his allies.
mostly, Uub has resigned himself to acting as a medic where his lack of fighting skill compared to Chondra , Trunks and Mita isn't an issue. he's by no means a doctor, but his ki control allows him to help speed up the healing process among his fellow humans.
