Tentative concepts designs for a reader insert cosmic horror/drama I've been working on. Putting it here for posterity and to keep the characters on model/track.

Summary: Perhaps the situation you found yourself in should scare a person—trudging alone in desolate catacombs in search of an ancient cult's whereabouts, but not you. Your profession is intwined with the inexplicable the obscure. You’ve been tasked with a new investigation revolving around the activities of a strange cult attempting to invoke humanity’s impending downfall by and unspeakable threat. Your heart may pound with terror, but it’s your job to find out what that threat might be. You won’t be stopped.

Kier Thorne (ENTP): A persistent, shadowy admirer who seems to have taken quite a liking to you. The greater the resistance, the deeper he falls. There’s a chilling gravity about him that beckons you closer, but there's something doesn’t quite bode about this strange, yet terrifying man--something abominably terrifying. He offers his help with your investigation, but are wary of his motives.

Ya'a (IxTJ): Kier’s loyal familiar and distant relative; This serpentine creature of few words has amassed a collection of occult and human knowledge from all corners of the world. Ya'a acts as both a faithful companion and overseer to Kier, staving off his erratic and unnecessary behaviors. Eventually, her arcane studies reveal a dark power which works to aid Kier in his endeavors.

Ellie Mariano (ENFP): Your closest ally who works at a library café in the city, where you research your investigation. She is a bit of an oddball, but fortuitously sharp. Through her observations, she has come to believe that humanity will soon be facing an impeding threat. She has also noticed the growing peculiarities around her town and may be able to offer some insight around your investigation.
