Description
Dr. SteelDr. Steel, after a boat ride, arrives in Action City. As he exits the boat, he his filled with excitement, as this is his very first mission. He starts looking for any sidekicks with Super Gift Baskets. He quickly finds one.
“Um, excuse me.” Says Dr. Steel. “I heard you’re looking for sketchists to deliver these gift baskets to villains.” “Why yes. Are you looking to take one to them?” the sidekick asks. “Yeah. In fact, this is my very first mission!” Dr. Steel replies. The sidekick then gives Dr. Steel a questionable look but hands the basket over to him. “Good luck.” says the sidekick.
As Dr. Steel leaves with the basket, the sidekick looks on shaking his head. “That kid has no idea what he’s getting into. He’s gonna need some help.”
Puppeteer
Puppeteer set foot on the island, not too long after Dr. Steel had. He had spent the better part of his time simply content with wandering around, but when he overheard a sidekick talking about someone needing help, he decided to try and offer his hand in help.
As he did and as he spoke to the sidekick, he was given a basket to give 'to the villains', and was then pointed in the direction another Sketchist had went. Puppeteer nodded, gave a word of thanks, and followed after the other Sketchist.
Dr. Steel
As Dr. Steel searches, he looks at the tag of the basket and who it is addressed to. He then looks up and notices Puppeteer.
“Oh hey!” he says to the sketchist. “Hey, are you taking gift baskets to a villain too? It’s actually my first mission!” It’s clear that Dr. Steel has no idea what he has gotten himself into.
Puppeteer
"I guess I am. I was told another sketchist was going down this way, so I decided to follow." He said with grand hand gestures. "After all, three heads are better than two, correct?" He confidently intoned, as Myrrin followed close behind him. "Oh, how could I forget? I am known as Puppeteer. And you?"
Dr. Steel
"I'm Dr. Steel" he said with a smile on his face. " Well, let's see if we whether we can find the villains or this other sketchist first."
Puppeteer
"Good to meet you, Doctor." Puppeteer said with a nod before continuing. "Do you, perhaps, know where the lair of this so-call 'villain' might be? It would be good to know, in case we run into any unforeseen obstacles in our journey."
Dr. Steel
“Well, lets see who they are addressed to.” Dr. Steel said.
He looked down at his basket to words that said, “To: DeadZone”
“Heh. I wonder if his thing is to stop electronics?” he said with a nervous laugh
Puppeteer
The Sketchist raised a faint brow. "Perhaps. It sounds like some sort of pandemonium-filled sports area, huh Myrrin?" Myrrin answered with a head tilt, as if she couldn't quite understand it either. Puppeteer gave a chuckle.
"Either way, feel free to lead the way, Doctor." Puppeteer answered, gesturing with an arm outwards.
Dr. Steel
Dr. Steel leads the way, as they make their way to a very populated part of the city. They continue to search for this, DeadZone but have little luck, until they hear a loud crash. People being to scatter and run the opposite direction of Puppeteer and Dr. Steel.
“YOU FOOLS!” They hear from the direction they are running in. “Don’t you know not to inhabit the very place that DeadZone dwells?”
“That must be him.” Dr. Steel says to Puppeteer. They gaze upon a figure in a grey suit with a blue visor and blue glowing lights on his shoulders, feet, and hands.
Puppeteer
The puppetmaster raised a faint brow, while Myrrin held her hands up to her face in what looked like nervousness. "Perhaps, but we come bearing gifts, Sir."
DeadZone
“Gifts? What kind of person would be idiotic enough to give me gifts?” said DeadZone.
“How do I know that it isn’t a trap? I know you sketchists. Now, prepare to feel the wrath of DEADZONE!”
He sends an electric shock wave out at Pupputeer and Dr. Steel.
Puppeteer
The electric shock came out too quickly for Puppeteer to try and dodge. However, with a wave of his hand, he had Myrrin take the brunt of the blow for him. The bolt singed her clothes and dirtied her face as the hair on Puppeteer's neck stood on end.
"Don't you see the basket my friend is carrying for you, sir?" Puppeteer inquired as he inspected the damage done to Myrrin from behind her, a frown on his face as he did so.
Dr. Steel
Dr. Steel, being further away from DeadZone, manages to jump over the shock wave.
“Are you guys ok?” He asks to Puppeteer.
Puppeteer
"I'm fine, but Myrrin took the hit...." He said as he trailed off, looking Myrrin over concernedly. Myrrin seemed to be still.
Dr. Steel
“Here, use this!” Dr. Steel quickly uses welding and crafts armor for Puppeteer.
Puppeteer
Quickly putting some of the armor on Myrrin and some for himself, Puppeteer gave a nod. "Many thanks, Doctor!" He said. As Myrrin came back to life, she swung a punch toward DeadZone.
DeadZone
The punch just grazes DeadZone.
“Is that all you’ve got?” he said. He gets away from Puppeteer and tries to zap Dr. Steel.
Puppeteer
While DeadZone moved to attack his fellow Sketchist, Puppeteer moved to have Myrrin try and attack DeadZone with a cocked-back hammer punch.
DeadZone
The zap is so powerful Dr. Steel is knocked back into a building. Puppeteer's next attack barley even hits DeadZone.
“ You are nothing more than ants to crush under my foot!” he says before erupting with sinister laughter. He sends another zap out at Dr. Steel.
Puppeteer
Puppeteer was growing frustrated. Fighting this guy was getting them nowhere, much less to being able to accept the gifts they were supposed to give.
As he and Myrrin moved to get a better shot at DeadZone, the Puppet master had an idea.
"Hey! Take this, Good Sir!" Puppeteer called out, throwing the gift he was given towards DeadZone. They were asked to give them the gifts; but it didn't mean it had to be done nicely....
DeadZone
DeadZone zaps Dr. Steel again, making him fall unconscious. Then as Puppeteer throws the basket at Deadzone, he dodges it.
“You imbecile! You think you can just hurt me by throwing the….” but then something clicks in DeadZone’s head. He stops attacking the two and walks over to the basket to inspect it.
Puppeteer
As Puppeteer moved in front of Myrrin, he spoke again. "Do you believe us now, sir? My compatriot has a gift for you as well."
DeadZone
DeadZone picks up the basket and rummages through it. He finds inside food and other goodies.
“You really are fools. You could’ve just left it at my apartment instead of going out of your way to get yourselves into danger.” He said coldly. “I could’ve killed you.”
He then walks over to Dr. Steel and takes the other basket out of his hands. DeadZone then walks off leaving Puppeteer and Dr. Steel to recover.
“Man, what a jerk.” says Dr. Steel. He gets up and brushes himself off and walks over to Puppeteer. “You alright?” he says as he reaches his hand out to help up Puppeteer.
Puppeteer
"I'm fine, but I'm worried that Myrrin got hurt" He shook his head, after watching the villain leave, accepting the hand up, while putting another hand on Myrrin. Unbeknownst to him, His fingers faintly sparked as he touched the puppet's hand, some of the cracks and nicks on her that were hidden by her clothes disappearing as he did.
"I probably should take some time to look her over, make sure she's not hurt." He sighed. "What about you?"
Dr. Steel
“I’m alright, but that guy is tough.” He says as he looks down at Myrrin. “This is all my fault. If I hadn’t been so eager, this wouldn’t have happened.”
Despite not knowing Puppeteer and Myrrin that well, Dr. Steel felt sorry for what he did.
“Myrrin… I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have been so stupid.”
Puppeteer
The Puppet shook her head as she slowly clambered up to her feet with Puppeteer's help. "She'll be fine. She's just not very talkative." Puppeteer added with a small smile. "But I think I have had my fill of this place for a bit."
Dr. Steel
Dr. Steel looked up to the sky with a tired expression. “Yeah. Me too.” he said. “Let’s just go to the boats and go back."
