To me you're not just a man
Who was the reason why I'm here.
I'll try to tell you, if I can,
All the things you are to me;
You are
The one who drives me right to school,
The one who tries to fix the car,
The one who thinks that I'm so cool,
Even though I'm not.
You are the guy who helps me out,
The guy who feeds me 'til I'm stout,
The guy who lets me try things out
And aids me when I can't get out.
But most importantly,
You've loved me with all of your heart,
Even though I get so angry.
You aren't just a normal man;
You are my dad.
