when i was in school
the only thing i seemed to do
was to fade to the background
so i wasnt picked on,

and after then my life
was just to run away from strife
just by fading to the background
so i wasnt picked on.

and later on
i met someone
who helped me see that i was wrong
i didnt fade to the background
didnt care that i was picked on,

but recently
it seems to be
the only thing you want me to do,
is to fade to the background...

But im standing strong i'll open the door
I wont fade to the background anymore!
