Vengabus was out in the market searching for something to eat. He had finally gotten enough coins to afford something good, but even then, not much. Hyde was bouncing next to him, smelling the air and excitedly looking around at other gros. She didn't get to leave the woods very often, but when she was able to it was so much fun!
"Hey, Hyde? How does Roast Puckoo sound today? Seems like all we can afford right now." Ven looked down at her and smiled awkwardly.
She smiled and nodded really fast. Seems like a "yes!" She hopped over in front of him and sat down, staring him down.
"Okay, okay, I'll get it. Don't worry."

Wick was also out in the market that day, but on the opposite side (lucky for Ven). She was over buying some new blankets for the camp since it had been a while since she was able to buy new ones. Jekyll was, as always, right beside her.
"Mom! Mom! Mom! Mom!" He jumped up and yelled at her.
"What's up kiddo?- oh here ya go- What do you need today?" She smiled, handed the clerk the money, and then poked Jekyll on the nose playfully.
"Want SWEET!" He smiled.
"Hmm, well, I guess I could get ya some candy with some of this. Just know this is a one time thing. Next time no candy."
He thought for a moment and then nodded.
"Candy! Candy! Candy!" He spun around in circles.
"Okay, okay, let's go get some."

"Alright, Hyde, go sit at one of those tables, I'll meet up with you in a moment. We'll eat out here today." Ven pointed in the distance at a group of tables.
She nodded and trotted over to them.

"Okay, take these and go wait by the cart over there," She pointed to a cart behind the cluster of tables. "I'll be over in a moment."
"OKAY MOM! THANK YOU!" He basically yelled and then sprinted away.

"Food! Puckoo so good. Excited!" She thought as she walked over, staring at the ground.
Jekyll was humming a song to himself, also looking at the floor.
Suddenly...

BOOP!~

"Huh!?" Jekyll jumped and looked up. "THREE!" He gasped and stared her in the face.
She jumped too and just stared at him, frozen.

She quickly squinted and sniffed him, tilting her head once she pulled away.
He squinted too, "Do I know you?" He asked quietly.

Before anything else could happen, Jekyll was quickly scooped up by Wick.
"Oh! Sorry Jekyll, who is your friend?"
"THREE! I KNOW HER!" He yelled and struggled to get down, smushing up against her face with his paws.

Hyde then noticed Ven was looking around for her, she perked up again and looked up at Jekyll.
She waved goodbye then quickly bolted off.

"Hm?" She questioned. "What's up?-" Before she could finish, Hyde ran away.
"NOO! MAMA SHE LEAVE! FRIEND GO!" He cried and thrashed around in her arms.
"Aww, its okay baby. You can see your friend again soon. But you are way too cranky right now, you are definitely getting a nap when you get home mister." She wrapped him up in a new blanket and held him under her arm really tight.
While Jekyll cried, she walked away into the forest towards her home.

"Oh, hey you? Where were you at?"
She pointed over where she met Jekyll and smiled.
"I see. Well! I have a surprise for you." He grinned and pulled out a small notebook.
"This is for you! I am going to send you to school and you're gonna learn how to write so you can tell me things. Is that okay?"
She nodded but also gave him a confused look.
"School is a good place, trust me. You will make many friends and I will be there at the end of every day to pick you up."
She nodded again and smiled. "School sound cool. Make friend." She thought.
"Alright, well you hang onto that Stinko. I can teach you some of the words when we get home, okay?"
She rolled her eyes jokingly and nodded again, quickly she sat down next to him and took a bite of the food, carefully placing the book next to her and patting it.
"Gotcha, let's eat!"
