June usually gets people to use his last name, his mother was his grandfathers daughter. His grandfather made wooden instruments and such.
Wakaki lived with Karoto's grandfather for around 8 years before his passing, he stayed in the workshop for around two weeks til Karoto went in to clean up and saw him. He remembered his granddad mentioned him, so thats when Wakaki moved in on the top floor of June's cafe. He works there now. He misses 'grandfather' he never learnt the mans name since he'd been told to call him that. He doesn't leave the top floor much besides for work. June doesn't mind too much, he's mostly doing it cause he felt like his granddad would want him to look after the guy and he was a good worker.
