I had been contemplating on various poses for this concept. The initial idea was to have one arm stretch across her chest, but that covered too much off the chest muscles, which I wanted to show. And it gave me trouble with aligning the shoulders. So, it came down to the wall lean with the “hand behind head bicep curl”.
Regardless this work combines slightly improved shading techniques and layering to achieve the look of a sleeve tattoo. I think I will explore more blackwork tattoos in the future as they look good and give some dynamic to the overall appearance.
