Recently in Rain World, I decided that I’m going to collect as many colored pearls as possible because I like to torture myself I’ve found four so far, and there’s like 30 of them so-

But, the first one I brought to Moon had some pretty interesting lore bits. It was about the cultural significance of masks to the Ancients. This got me thinking, we already know that the Scavs adopted many glyphs from the Ancient writing system. It’s very likely that they adopted the masks from Ancient culture as well.
I love how detailed Rain World’s lore is though-
