Here’s the other Monster Hunter fanart I had planned for today!

Whenever I see Pink Rathian, I think of cherry blossoms due to my first encounter with it back in the original Monster Hunter Stories. After you made it through the cave with the Khezu boss, you entered a path lined with cherry blossoms. There’s a Pink Rathian that’s always sleeping under one of the trees, and it will absolutely destroy you if you try to take it on before you’re really ready.

I’ve always really loved Pink Rathian’s coloration, and prefer it to the other Rathians. Although, Gold Rathian is also REALLY cool…I really just love a lot of Monster Hunter’s monsters in general ^^’
