Description
I did these today with Koi watercolors on HP everyday photo paper. The reds seemed to want to be a bit "spotty" on the paper, next time I'll try watercolor or manga paper and see if they flow better.
I no longer make stuff for adoption that is super-exclusive, it is not fair for artists who live out of my time zone, or who need more time to create their own version of the horse.
So DO customize your adopted horse to your liking. Add more (or less) white markings, make the color darker, give the horse darker legs, or change the color of the mane and tail, it's all good.
A (very few) Rules:
1. Draw and paint the horse you want. No restrictions on how you do it, so have fun with whatever technique you like. Lineart OK.
2. Send me a link to the finished horse so I can add it to the collection.
3. Enjoy your horse for RPG or anything you like.
4. You can go for more than one horse. Like my recent adoptions, any doubles will be different enough that we can call them brothers and sisters.

I'm confused.. Are these adoptables or do you just take a design and it's still left for other people?

Yes, you use the design (and alter or tweak it if you like) and others can use the same design. I'm not sure what else to call them other than "adoptable", even if they are not exclusive.

The coloring? I do my blue roans with just a gray paint wash on the body and then go over the legs and head with darker gray & almost-black and then black for the mane and tail. Its always a bit fiddly with watercolor, but that can be part of the fun of the whole thing. It's easier with digital and layers.
