This is one of my super old ocs.... :,) His name is soot, and he's a spooky lad who lives a weird life I guess. Wanted to draw him with medieval vibes because it suits him more I think

His deal (as far as I can remember, it's been almost a decade since I've thought about him fhhfjshf) is that he was raised by a bunch of nomadic people who could turn into raptors (thE BIRD KIND) when he was abandoned there? And there were all these clans (like warriors but with people who could turn into animals) that were at war n shit?? And he was the outcast because he couldn't turn into a raptor or something so they had him collect firewood/charcoal from the awful gigantic burned down forest of mist that was miles of just ash and fog and ghosts or whatever. There he learns he can turn into whatever the hell he is and is apparently the descendant of some ancient forest entity and there's a prophecy and he meets his sister and it's chaotic lmao
