Exactly. If Chewie was never somehow close with Kylo in their early years, Chewie would've simply killed him right there.

This is probably what happened. Ben was basically Chewie's nephew and he still loved him. He killed him if he wanted toΒ but he didn't, he just injured him. He loved Han and was devastated and angry about his death but he loved Ben/Kylo too.

This little comic is so sad and beautiful...I mean, I had so many questions to ask after watching that movie...Another thing was Chewie's and Ben's relationship and once I saw this...I was heartbroken of how well they got along until Ben turned evil and that right there was a downfall...I have to say here it's beautiful and sad...I still wonder if there will be any more questions answered in Episode 8 and of course I have a lot of them.
